History
TABA was founded in 2002 by a group of Taiwanese-American professionals residing and working in Southern California, who endeavor to advance a web of networking in biotechnology between Taiwan and the United States of America. Currently, there are 300 members from both Taiwan and USA representing academia, industry, hospitals and government institutions.
本會於2002年由一群居住在南加州的台美裔生物科技研究者發起創立﹐期以建構台灣與美國生物科技業的聯繫網路。 目前已有300多位台灣和美國學術﹐工業﹐醫院﹐及政府機構等單位的會員共同參與。
協會使命本會之主要任務為推動台灣和美國生物科技研發工作的交流合作及促進太平洋兩岸生技工業之蓬勃發展。為順利執行本項任務﹐ 本會定期舉辦或協辦年度生物科技會議﹐地區性研討會及專題工作室等活動。此外會員可從本會電腦網站查詢協會動態﹐ 會員錄﹐ 會議公告﹐新知通訊﹐生技名人錄﹐以及生物科技之最新發展及重要成就。
